This window, from Glastonbury parish church, nicely leads us from Sunday's Gospel of the miracle at Cana (shown on the left) to this Octave of Prayer for Christian Unity, which begins today. This week, we ask the Lord, who alone is our Good Shepherd (shown in the middle), to lead His flock into unity, and we ask him to heal us (shown on the right) of whatever keeps us Christians divided. By His grace and the working of His Holy Spirit, may all the baptised be one as the Son and the Spirit are one with God the Father.
