In 1946, Comper completed the east window of St Cyprian's church in London, of which this is a detail. St Paul is shown holding a book, open to Colossians 1:23, exhorting one and all to: "continue in the faith, stable and steadfast, not shifting from the hope of the gospel... of which I, Paul, became a minister."
